Welcome to Stanton Stud...
Hi, my name is Alex Carrasco, I have a huge passion for animals and have done since I was a little girl. Have owned a number of Animals including; Rabbits, Dogs, Horses, Bearded Dragons, Cats, Hamsters etc...
I am a small Hobby Keeper and Exhibitor of Mini Lops. I pride myself in keeping healthy, happy Rabbits with brill temperaments and which are suitable for both breeding/ show and pet homes alike. I do not breed for profit and any money we take from the sale of our Rabbits goes straight back towards paying for Hutches, Food, Bedding, Toys, Vaccinations, and any Veterinary Treatment needed.
I am a member of the British Rabbit Council (BRC) and I show my Rabbits at local shows throughout the year.
I always welcome people to come to me and have a cuddle with my Rabbits and the babies before you make any decisions about buying a Rabbit. I am also very happy to provide help and advice should you want it with regards to the care of your new Rabbit or about which Rabbit/ Breed would be best suitable for your family and your lifestyle.
I have more than 7 years experience with Rabbits and have owned Rabbits for many years. Breeding Rabbits has been in my family for years as my Granddad bred Giant Breed Rabbits.
Following my 1st Diploma in Equine Care & Management and my Btec National Diploma in Equine Management and Care, I progressed onto my Veterinary Nursing Degree. However this has gone on hold until my 2 children are both at school then I can go back to uni to finish this.

Our Set Up
Our Rabbits are kept in spacious hutches, they are also allowed out in runs on the garden when weather permits and are held and fussed every day. They are not cooped up in small hutches. We are very proud of our set up and ensure the welfare of our Rabbits always come first!
